Primula auricula These evergreen primroses like to dry out between waterings more than many primroses. Their thick, fleshy leaves will remind you of many types of succulent plants that are drought tolerant. Some gardeners add pumice or perlite to their potting mixed, as much as 50%, or sometimes more, so the soil dries out quickly. Using porous, unglazed clay pots achieves much the same end. |
