Hermannia ciliata, honeybells A low woody shrub from Africa, its flowers are sweetly fragrant and bloom continuously through summer. Bring it indoors before the first autumn frost and return it outside for the following summer. As this is written in March of 2010 we have only one pot of Hermannia ciliata containing eight plants, each about ten inches tall growing together in a 6-inch pot. New plants are easily started from cuttings, so we hope to offer this on our web store in 2011. A different honeybells, Hermannia pulchella, having fragrant, lemon yellow flowers is currently listed on our web store. |
