This has medium large flowers that stand up to extreme summer heat better than some other violas. At first glance, 'Boughton Blue' is not anyones first choice because it is more modest than the others. However it has such a tough constitution that I bet this will outlive most of them. We have seen it survive with little care and it has continued to flower nicely each summer for at least five years. This is unscented. Cold hardy to USDA Zone 4. |
