Growing to a size of ten inches tall, this bushy perennial flowers from June through August, bringing welcome color to the late summer garden. Its flowers are a rich violet-blue. Hardy to USDA Zones 5 to 9, this species is native to Kashmir. It likes well-drained soil in sun. Plant it near the silver foliage of Heuchera 'Silver Scrolls,' and enjoy the contrast of silver and blue. |
