Campanula carpatica 'Pearl White'Campanula carpatica 'Pearl White'          $5.95
  • common names: bellflower
  • flowering season: summer to fall
  • height: from 3 to 4 inches, with flowers a bit higher
  • Light requirements: sun or partial shade
  • Soil requirements: average
  • Water requirments: average
  • Growth habit: low and slowly widening
  • How to propagate: dividing a plant in early summer
  • Leaf type: small and round to oval
  • Ways to use it such as in a pot or otherwise: attractive as an edging, or at the foot of taller flowering perennials, and in a rock garden
  • Special characteristics: large upward facing flowers seem to be very cheerful
  • Other points of interests: easy to grow and long lived; as with many “herbaceous perennials” giving this plant a yearly feeding of organic fertilizer and a light top-dressing of compost will keep it healthy and happy from year to year
Here is a compact, low perennial to under a foot in height with relatively large flowers of a pristine white. Its flowers begin in early summer and continue throughout summer until frosts arrive. Our plants are grown from cuttings, not from seeds, so that each plant has the same beautiful flowers. Very cold hardy to USDA Zone 3.
sorry, sold out
