A hardy mildew-free aster, 'Coombe Fishacre' has masses of light lilac flowers with golden eyes, the eyes turning rosy brown with age. The plant has a rounded, billowy shape. Reaching to three tall, it supports itself well without staking unless grown in more shade or in a particularly windy location. Blooms August into early October.
